Employee Spotlight: Kevin Mathis

Kevin Mathis was hired by the TuBro Company Inc. in March 1989. He came to us shortly after his discharge from the United States Army.

Kevin works in our plastic fabrication division working on all types of specialty plastic fabrication. Over the years, he has become our specialist in acrylic finishing. Kevin is responsible for finishing museum quality display cubes and vitrines. He takes five separate pieces of acrylic cemented together and turns it into what appears to be a single molded case. Those cases are used in many museums throughout the country.

Kevin is the father of two daughters, Sarah and Paulina. He and his wife Trina live in Elkins Park along with their dogs Jose and Tabatha. He is very proud of his family’s accomplishments, most recently his youngest daughter Paulina’s induction into the Junior National Honor Society.

He has always been an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. It looks like he finally has a team to root for!
